Limitless VR
Multi player VR Laser tag game.
Helped develop the 2022 IAAPA Expo's second place winner of the Brass Ring Award for Best New Product. As a Developer on Limitless VR, I was instrumental in crafting a hyper-immersive VR experience allowing players to roam freely in spaces mapped to match the physical environment, ideal for implementation in existing maze-like laser tag arenas. My contributions encompassed:
Developing the player alignment system for seamless interaction. Implementing Photon network communication for real-time multiplayer connectivity. Designing safety systems ensuring a secure user experience and closely aligned spatial mappings. Creating device interfaces for HTC Vive Focus 3 and HTC trackers to enhance gameplay interaction.
Palantir Technologies
Collaborative Map Planning project
Engaged in elevating a mixed reality project to a solid demonstration state for a client. Key contributions include: Implementing Meta spatial anchors on Quest headsets enabling a colocated experience for multiple users.
Streamlining Photon room creation and anchor sharing for enhanced user connectivity. Integrating client's API data with interactable objects on the interactive map, facilitating dynamic user interactions.
Sira Medical Application
Surgical Pre-Operative Tool
Took project from a simple demonstration project to a functional surgical pre-operative tool and helped document and test for FDA application submission.
Terahertz
Paint thickness scan
Integrated scan data into a Hololens 2 application to visualize on a scanned object paint thickness for inspection, records, and painter training feedback.
Required interfacing with the actual device, as well as automating fake data for testing and development.
Created custom elements and UI options for visualizing the data and filtering out points within certain tolerances.
Byldr-Decentraland
VR capabilities to Decentraland
Added VR capabilities to Decentraland.org's capabilities so users can experience their metaverse immersively.
This required utizing Vuplex Webview to enable communication with the Decentraland Kernel, Modifying UI elements, Adding interations to be able to use the VR controllers, and helping optimize the application for Quest 2 android builds. Optimizations included reducing blocking code, memory management, and modifying scenes and tools to be compatible with android.
